Racing: 24 Hours of Zolder 2010

It’s been a while since my last post, I had a very busy summer due to a number of things. But I was still able to go to the Menzo 24 Hours of Zolder thanks to Viage KRK racing!

On saturday morning there were some Legends races before the 24h itself started.

This is the 1965 Porsche 911 of porscheracing.be. I would also like to thank Christophe for the hospitality and the drinks!

A very nice Austin Healey 3000.

Dodge Challenger.

American muscle: Dodge Challenger – Chevrolet Camaro

Jaguar XJS and Ford Escort MK I.

This 1968 Ford GT40 used to be part of the collection of the ex-father-in-law of Jacky Ickx, Monsieur Le Mans. It was build to the specs of the famous GT40 that led Ickx to the overall victory in the 1969 24h du Mans.

And yet another Ford GT40!

Interior shot of the second GT40.

Serge Lebeau’s Lotus Elan, ex-FIA Historic GT racing car (and driver!).

I just love that center exhaust.

Trailer full of Porsche 911 racecars.

Studebaker Commander, that looks like it’s just been in the Carrera Panamericana. It has the same livery as the Studebaker that de Toisy drove in the 2006 Carrera Panamericana, would it be the same car?

Trackside view.

The entourage.

Enjoying myself, watching the racing of the 24 hour race.
